Arselormital chose steel structures as a supplier for the construction of one of the first frame skyscrapers in France. It is reported by Business Standard.
Arselormital will put 4200 tons of steel on the first tower in the business area of Paris La Defense. "The unique construction of the skyscraper will give it a similarity with the diamond - thousands of windows will reflect sunlight, creating a unique brilliance and a game of light. A building with a total area of 50 thousand square meters should be commissioned in 2014," the report said.
The skyscraper is part of a more grandiose project for updating the city of Paris and its business center.
Deliveries of steel structures and a wall cornfield will already be actively completed until the first half of 2013, while the entire metal supply will be shipped from the Luxembourg branch of the Arselormital.
The skyscraper was designed by the architect Anthony Bush in cooperation with Tom Shihan. The input of design steel was taken as the main building material mainly due to the fact that you can work quickly with it. "We insisted on the use of steel while other applicants offered concrete," says Busha.
The use of steel allowed architects to use 30 percent less materials and save significantly in the construction of the towers.
