According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, the export of drawn wire from the USA in May this year amounted to 7,255 tons, which is 2.4% less compared to the previous month and 2.0% more year-on-year. By value, drawn wire exports totaled 21.11 million euros in May compared to 19.57 million dollars in the previous month and 18.42 million dollars in the same month of 2025.
The United States shipped most of the drawn wire to Mexico in May with 3,549 tons, compared to 3.482 million tons in April and 2,831 thousand tons in May 2025. The other largest destination was Canada with 2,295 thousand tons. In May, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 thousand tons or more) for bent wire from the USA.
