According to preliminary data from the US Department of Commerce, in June, the import of tinplate into the country amounted to 57,671 thousand tons, which is 25.7% less than in May and 41.6% lower than in the same month last year. In monetary terms, the volume of shipments amounted to $77.98 million compared to $93.51 million in May and $153.64 million in June 2025.
