According to the press service of the holding, Jack Maklahlan, who previously held the position of director of the division of steel and rental Metinvest, was appointed director for technical development of Metinvest Holding LLC. Mr. Maklahlan will be responsible for the implementation of the new strategy of the company in the field of technological development. The director of the division steel and the rental of Metinvest was appointed Alexander Pogozhev. The sphere of responsibility of Mr. Pogozhev will include ensuring the process of effective management in the steel division and the rental of methinvest from the point of view of strategic, tactical and short-term business tasks associated with the development of metallurgical enterprises of the group and division sales services.

Mr. Pogozhev has two higher educations in the specialty technology of mechanical engineering (Sevmashvtuz, Severodvinsk) and financial management (State Academy of Management. Moskva), as well as the degree of MVA (Northumbria University, Great Britain). Prior to this appointment, he held the position of chief operating room in the SeverStal International division, USA.
