According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in August of this year, Turkey's seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted industrial production decreased by one percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar-adjusted index decreased by 1.9 percent compared to August 2025.
This month, the index of base metals production in Turkey decreased by 1.2 percent year-on-year and decreased by 0.8% month-on-month.
The index of production of finished metal products in August decreased by 6.7% year-on-year and increased by 0.5% month-on-month.
