According to the European Statistics Bureau, in March 2013, industrial production in the European Union increased by 1 percent of the euro and 0.9 percent in the EU27 zone compared to February. This is stated in the report of the Eurostat.
In an annual comparison, industrial production in Europe decreased by 1.7 percent in the euro zone and 1.1 percent in the EU27.
Including electricity production increased by 3.8 percent in the euro zone and 3 percent in the EU27. Long -term consumer goods began to produce 1.9 and 2.2 percent more, 1.2 percent more capital construction.
The largest growth was shown by the economy of Portugal (5.3 percent), the Netherlands (4.5 percent), Luxembourg (4.0 percent) and Estonia (3.9 percent).
The largest fall was demonstrated by the industry of Slovenia (-2.9 percent), Bulgaria (-2.3 percent) and Ireland ( -2.2 percent).
As reported, industrial production in both EU areas in February 2013 increased by 0.3 percent.
