According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, exports of cold-rolled coils from the United States in August this year amounted to 66,007 tons, which is 4.3% more than in July and 2.8% more than in August 2025. In value terms, CRC exports totaled $94.0 million in August, compared with $88.7 million in the previous month and $84.2 million in the same month last year.
In August, the United States shipped the most CRC to Mexico - 55,780 tons, compared with 52,323 tons in August in July and 49,168 thousand tons in August last year. Mexico is followed by Canada with 10,091 thousand tons. In August, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 thousand tons or more) for CRC exports from the United States.
