Steel smelting in Brazil is gaining momentum

Compared to 2009 in 2010, Brazil increased steel smelting by 25% to 33.1 million tons.
It is known that the consumption of metal inside the country will grow to 44% to 26.8 million tons. The import of steel and 5.9 million tons will also be doubled

It is worth noting that in October 2010, Brazilian metallurgical enterprises increased steel production by 4.7% to 2.298 million tons, while taking the ninth position among the world's largest producers in the World Steel Association rating.

It is assumed that the import of steel into the country will increase to a record indicator - 4 million tons.
