Metallurgists will increase the production of rental by 14%

In May 2010, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine plan to increase cast iron for 5.6%compared to the planned production volumes for April - up to 2.640 million tons, steel - by 8.8%, up to 3.1 million tons, finished rental - by 13.6%, up to 2.920 million tons.

According to Vasily Kharahulak, General Director of the Association of Metallurgical Enterprises of Ukraine Metallurgprom (Dnepropetrovsk) at a balance meeting of representatives of the mining and metallurgical complex in Dnepropetrovsk, enterprises are fully provided with iron ore raw materials.

According to him, to ensure these volumes of production, met enterprises will need to supply 570 thousand tons of aggloruda, 1.61 million tons of iron ore concentrate, 280 thousand tons of agglomerate, 1.1 million tons of pellets, limestone tons, 1.4 million tons of metallurgical coke and 0.51 million tons of metallum.
