The production of aluminum is growing

It is known that over 10 months of this year, aluminum production in the world increased by 12.1%, to 37.048 million tons. Per day, on average, aluminum is produced by 110.9 thousand tons, which is 12 thousand tons more than last year. However, in November, the average daily production of this metal decreased, compared with October of the same year, by 4.1%, to 108.4 thousand tons. In November, the world production of aluminum amounted to 3.251 million tons

It is worth noting that China was the main producer of aluminum. In January-November 2010, the country produced 14.885 million tons of aluminum, which by 3.252 million tons exceeds production last year. For November, compared with October, aluminum in the PRC was 7.3% less - 1.197 million tons

Unfortunately, in Asia (without China), aluminum production has decreased greatly. For 11 months of 2009, 4.014 million tons of metal were produced, which significantly exceeded the result of 2010: 2.285 million tons.
