Zaporizhzhya Titanomagnius Plant increased production

For 11 months of this year, ZTMK (Zaporizhzhya Titanomagnius Plant) increased the release of a titanium sponge, compared with APPG, by 12.5%, to 7.034 thousand tons.

In January -November 2010, these products (titanium sponge) were sold in the amount of 358.373 million hryvnias - this is 40.2% more than for APPG.

It is planned that the plant will produce 24-30 thousand tons per year of spongy titanium per year and titanium slag of 200 thousand tons per year, and all this for three years.

It is also known that after 4-5 years, the demand for spongy titanium will increase by 83%, to 220 thousand tons per year (in 2009 - 120 thousand tons per year).
