The recorded resistance of the converter liner has been reached on Azovstal

At the Azovstal metallurgical plant, which is included in the Metinvest group, the record resistance of the converter liner - 3 967 swimming trunks was achieved.

The economic effect of the achieved resistance will be 1.7 million UAH. per year, an increase in the production of converter steel will be more than 20 thousand tons per year.

The durability indicator of 3,967 swimming trunks is one of the highest among the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine, with guaranteed resistance from the manufacturer of 2,600 swimming trunks. In the whole in Ukraine, the average durability of the lining is 2,762 swimming trunks, in Russia - 3 450 swimming trunks, in Europe - 3,500 swimming trunks. Earlier, the maximum achieved lining resistance was 3,805 swimming trunks on Azovstal.

A high resistance to the introduction of innovative solutions in the technological mode of converter steel smelting. An increase in the durability of the lining will increase the interporelair period of converters and reduce the number of re -food by 1.5 times.
