In 2010, compared with 2009, UC Rusal increased the production of clay, aluminum and bauxite, by 8%, to 7.8 million tons, by 3%, up to 4.1 million tons and 4%, to 11.8 million tons, respectively.
In 2011, Rusal suggests that aluminum production at the company's factories will rise to approximately 4.2 million tons.
It is also worth recalling that the demand and production of aluminum is growing around the world.
