It is known that in 2010, compared with 2009, China reduced iron ore imports by 1.4%, to 618.63 million tons.
However, already in the first 2 months, compared with January and February 2010, the People’s Republic of China increased the import of iron ore by 23%, to 117.6 million tons.
It is worth noting that in February of this year, compared with the same period last year, the import of iron ore raw materials increased by 4.1%, and compared with January 2011 - decreased by 29%, to 48.64 million tons.
