The production of aluminum in the world in the first two months of 2011, compared with the same period last year, increased by 3.3%to 6.672 million tons.
The main manufacturer of this metal, as usual, was the Chinese People’s Republic, the production of which, however, decreased in January-February of the current year, compared to APPG, from 2.655 million tons to 2.588 million tons.
In February, aluminum produced 3.253 million tons.
It is known that for this period, 113.1 thousand tons were produced in the world of aluminum per day (109.4 thousand tons last year).
