In the first two months of the current year, compared with January-February last year, the production of raw steel increased by 10.8%, to 243.571 million tons.
It is worth noting that the production of steel in February 2011, compared with the same period last year, by 2.7%, however, compared with the January of this year, decreased by 2.3%.
It is known that the production of this product in the euro of the Union increased by 7.5%, to 29.101 million tons.
In Asia, production increased by 11.9%, to 157.447 million tons.
In the CIS countries, the production of steel increased by 8.5, to 17.824 million tons.
Türkiye increased production by 34.4%, until 5.201 million tons.
North America increased the production of steel by 8.1%, to 18.841 million tons.
