Metal vehicles have increased sales

In January-March 2010, large and medium metal-trade companies of Ukraine were purchased at domestic metallurgical enterprises, imported and implemented, according to preliminary data, 280.463 thousand tons of metal production, which is 11.4% more than in January-March 2009, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to the President of the Ukrainian Association of Metal-Trenders (UAM) Andrei Fedoseev, in January-Marte-2010 the main metal traders reduced the import of the metal rolling by 25.9% to 19.972 thousand tons.

At the same time, in March, the companies purchased 115.688 thousand tons of metal rolling, including 6.560 thousand tons, bought 109.128 thousand tons from Ukrainian met enterprises.

The head of the association explained that part of the metal products in the warehouses of companies and metal depots is a constantly replenished margin, so not all volumes of purchased products can be sold over the corresponding period of time.
