Russia will remove the restriction on the import of Ukrainian steel pipes and stop the anti -dumping investigation against Ukrainian reinforcement

Speaking today at a briefing in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Minister of Industrial Policy Mikhail Korolenko told reporters about a number of agreements reached during the visit of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to Moscow.

In particular, restrictions on the import of steel pipes will be lifted and an anti -dumping investigation is suspended regarding Ukrainian reinforcement and drooping. At the Dnipropetrovsk Pipe Plant, Russian buyers have already placed their orders, the minister said.

“The anti -dumping investigation will be suspended. So, at least, Russian friends promised, ”said Mikhail Korolenko.

Recall that the import of Ukrainian steel pipes was suspended on the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, who in the spring of this year with representatives of the Russian GMC stated that there will be no more quotas for the supply of the Ukrainian pipe.

The Eurasian Commission began the anti -dumping investigation, which has begun proceedings at the request of the largest Russian metallurgical companies.
