The trade union sued the Canadian coal mining company due to hiring for the work of the Chinese

Профсоюз подал в суд на канадскую угледобывающую компанию из-за найма на работу китайцев
The Canadian coal mining company HD Mining, located in Vancouver, caused a number of disputes and trials last year due to the fact that it temporarily hired 2000 miners from China in exchange for investments from the Celestial Empire in the amount of $ 300 million, which were aimed at building the British Columbia (B.C.) mine.

Now the HD Mining company, apparently, is waiting for new trials related, again, with the hiring of temporary workers from abroad.

The United Metallurgist Trade Union filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of the Canadian province of the British Colombia with a demand to withdraw permission from HD Mining for geological intelligence. The activists of the trade union insist that the main mining inspector of the province should not have provided permission due to the fact that working companies do not speak English freely. They argue that due to the misunderstanding of English, foreign workers are a potential source of the threat to the security of other employees of the enterprise, namely its Canadian employees.

“For some reason, no one draws attention to the fact that all Chinese workers at best have minimal knowledge of the English language, which is why it is unrealistic to ensure the safety of work on the construction of the B.C. mine”, and the union members said in their press release.

In a court lawsuit, the trade union accuses local representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, as well as the main mining inspector, who allegedly decided to give permission for geological reconnaissance and construction of a mine under pressure from the aforementioned ministerial officials.

The HD Mining project called Murray River implies B.C. Not far from the Tybler Ridge district. Currently, the project is still at an early stage of implementation and requires the final regulatory approval, but at present the Canadian company has a permit for geological exploration and conducting excavation.
