On December 27, 2013, PJSC Donetsk Metallurgical Plant PJSC (DMZ), which is part of the Donetskstal group, decided to dismiss Igor Chumachenko from his position and appoint Alexander Seliverstov's deputy general director for logistics. Igor Chumachenko managed to hold out for exactly a year in his position. Alexander Silvestrov was appointed to manage the DMZ from December 20, 2013 to May 15, 2014 inclusive.
The Donetsk Metzavod specializes in the production of varietal, sheet, shaped rental and square workpiece. In addition to the DMZ, the Donetskstal group includes PAO Donetskstal-Metzavod, PJSC Donetsk Metallurgical Plant, JSC Yasinovsky Koksochemistry Plant, Makeevsky Kosochemical Plant JSC, and Pokrovskoye Mine Administration.
In 2014, the company plans to significantly expand the range of rental with access to the fourth redistribution due to its thermomechanical treatment.
