Gas agreements only affect the mood of metallurgists

The price of gas for our metallurgical enterprises today is preferential and amounts to $ 260 per cubic meter. As a result of an additional gas agreement between Gazprom and Naftogaz, the price of the Ukrainian border - Russia will be $ 234, and taking into account the internal costs of transportation and customs clearance, it will be approximately $ 290 - 300 of the United States per cubic meter.

The naked eye shows that today metallurgists do not win anything, but in the future, when the action of the memorandum between the government and the mining and metallurgical complex ends, our factories will not receive such a strong rise in gas.

A decrease in gas prices by $ 100 per thousand cubic meters will reduce the cost of production on average in the industry by approximately $ 20 per ton of rental, which, at market prices for gas, would reduce the cost of plants by 4%.
