Belarusian metallurgical OJSC will be one of the suppliers for the Russian KAMAZ company in 2014, as BelTA was told by representatives of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus.
The Ministry of Industry notes that in a difficult situation in the Metal market, BMZ in 2013 increased deliveries to Russia compared to 2012. As a result of productive negotiations of BMZ with KAMAZ, the plant is included in the list of its suppliers for 2014. In general, BMZ exports more than 80 percent of its products.
Vyacheslav Kushnarev, Director of Bel-Kap-Stel (USA), also noted positive changes in the BMZ position in the metal production market. According to him, 2013 was not simple, but BMZ managed to demonstrate unique qualities that provided the company's positions in terms of competitiveness, flexibility and introduction of new types of goods. This led to noticeable progress in the implementation of seamless pipes in North America. He believes that products related to the automotive and oil and gas industries will be sold well in 2014.
BMZ sums up for sales through branded circuits over the past year and sets out tasks for 1 quarter of 2014. Based on the analysis of the markets, business forecasts were made. Close attention was paid to reducing stocks of finished products, since as of January 1, 2014, reserves in a warehouse are 35 percent lower than on January 1, 2013. This year, BMZ provides for the penetration of new markets and specific guidelines are already given to specific persons on this subject.
