Voestalpine Group continues to promote the internationalization strategy by acquiring the Indian company Maruti Weld Private limited, which specializes in the production of welding electrodes, and currently has 180 employees, and last year received annual income of 6.7 million euros.

For Voestalpine, this acquisition is another step in expanding your portfolio in the welding technology segment. In particular, Voestalpine Böhler Welding Group GmbH, which is part of the Metal Engineering department of the Voestalpine Group, purchased products used for welding from the Indian manufacturer.

Maruti Weld Private limited, with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons of high -quality electrodes and powder wire is one of the 10 best companies in the Indian welding technology market.
