The vote of 249 people's deputies today adopted the state budget of Ukraine. The document provides for the growth of the economy this year at the level of 3 percent, inflation is expected at 4.3 percent. They also did not forget about metallurgists and provided for 50 billion UAH of state support in the budget.
“The implementation of the state program for activation of the economy provides for the provision of state guarantees in the amount of 50 billion UAH.”, Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov commented on the budget for 2014.
According to the new budget, the minimum salary in 2014 will increase by 18 percent, income tax will decrease to 18 percent, and GDP will be 1.65 trillion. UAH. The price of gas in the budget is not laid down. According to Vladislav Lukyanov, the state budget for 2014 was calculated based on the new price for Russian gas at $ 268.5 per thousand cubic meters.
The deputies of the Region planned to accept the document before the New Year, but the opposition blocked the work of the Verkhovna Rada, demanding to consider the budget according to the procedure in several readings.
