The US Department of Commerce has revised its final determination in the anti-dumping investigation into corrosion-resistant steel from Mexico and amended the resulting order. The review covers imports from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
The department made the changes following a ruling by the US Court of International Trade. On October 19, 2026, the court upheld the results of the department’s first remand redetermination, which Commerce found to be not in harmony with its original final determination.
As a result, the weighted-average dumping margin for Galvasid S.A. de C.V. fell from 24.09% to 14.54%. The rate for all other producers and exporters was reduced from 17.42% to 14.29%.
