Today, Interpipe Steel celebrates two years since the first melting

Interpipe Steel on January 17 celebrated a two -year anniversary since the first melting. Over the past two years, the metallurgical plant smelted more than a million tons of steel and reached design production indicators. The amount of metal produced is now enough not only to meet their own needs of the interpip, but also allow you to sell surpluses to external consumers.

In the near future, Dnepropetrovsk metallurgists set the task of reaching the annual design capacity equal to 1.5 million. The tone of steel and reduce the cost of redistribution below $ 100 per ton.

“In two years we have done a lot of work. After the launch of the interpip, the factory stood in front of all employees of the plant - it was necessary to learn how to manage modern equipment and mastering technological processes. We successfully coped with this task - the plant reaches design indicators of work. Our new goal is effectiveness, ”said the director of the plant Gennady Esaulov.
