On January 15, the Donetsk electrometallurgical plant (DEMZ) dismissed the general director of the enterprise Leonid Ivantsov from the post of Director of the enterprise, appointing Vladimir Nikitashev instead. At the same time, DEMZ suspended production due to the lack of scrap metal in the warehouses of the enterprise.
It will be possible to technologically resume the production of steel at the plant no earlier than three months later, no one knows about real terms. According to the mayor of Donetsk, Alexander Lukyanchenko, the authorities are negotiating with the leadership of the factory and looking for exits to its owner.
Recall that since November 2013, the Russian businessman Vadim Warsaw, who has been connected by a long series of troubles and complex relations with Mechel, has become the owner of DEMZ.
