The production of steel pipes in Ukraine in 2013 decreased by 17.3 percent to 1 million 813 thousand tons. Such data are given by the State Statistics Service of the country. According to published data, in December 2013, the production of a steel pipe (including profile) compared with the previous month increased by 11.9 percent, in an annual comparison by 7.2 percent and amounted to 123 thousand tons.
Recall that in 2012, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine reduced the production of a steel pipe compared to 2011 by 8.2 percent - up to 2 million 184 thousand tons.
The largest manufacturers of pipes in the country are the Khartsyz Pipe Plant, Interpipe of the Nizhnedneprovsky Pipe Plant, Interpipe Niko-Tyub, Interpipe Novomoskovsky Pipe Plant, the Lugansk Trouble Plant and the Kominmet plant.
