BMZ in 2014 will modernize production

In 2013, BMZ invested 2.2 trillion Belarusian rubles (BYR) in modernization and updating of production capacities. Recently, a ceremony of commissioning a modernized furnace and a complex of equipment for dust -up and circulation of gas was carried out.

In accordance with the BMZ development program from 2011 to 2015, investments of 520 million GBP will be aimed at implementing more than ten large projects. General Director Anatoly Saovenok said that “commissioning of a steelpet furnace No. 1 is the first step this year to achieve our goals.” Mnls will be commissioned in the near future, and also put a stove for firing lime.

At the end of 2014, work will begin on the new rolling manner No. 2. This largest BMZ project is going to complete during the current five -year period. The project is estimated at 330 million GBP. Anatoly Saovenok said that, despite the excess of production capacities in the world market, BMZ products are quite strong. The plant sends most of its metal products to the EU and the Russian Federation. In general, BMZ products are exported to 60 countries.

The ultimate goal of the plant’s development by 2015 is to increase production capacity to 3 million tons. Another task of the company is to stop sales of cast preparations, mastering the technology that allows to perform full processing, which will ensure the production of products with high added value
