In the near future, four foreign companies will be able to start the extraction of gold and iron ore in the territory of several states of Nigeria. This was announced last Sunday by Mohammad Amate, holding the post of general director of the cadastral administration of Nigeria.
In an interview with Nigeria’s news agency (NAN), Mr. Amate said that the work of foreign companies will begin in three states of this country, namely, in Kebby, Revuna and Kogi.
According to the head of the cadastral administration, the Australian Mines Geotechniques Nig. Ltd. And the British Northern Numero Resources will put gold mining in Kubby, while Australian companies Segilola Nigeria Ltd. and kcm mining ltd. They will begin to extract gold in reversing and iron in Kogi, respectively.
According to Mohammad Amate, all these firms have completed intelligence of natural resources and this year they will be able to begin their prey. At the same time, the head of the cadastral administration of Nigeria noted that for four years KCM Mining Ltd. She managed to find 500 million tons of iron ore in Kogi.
Now the intelligence of minerals, conducted by KCM, is completed. The same can be said about the research of the company Segilola Nigeria Ltd., during which more than a million ounces of gold were found in the bowels of the Nigerian state of Osun. The reserves of this dragmetal, explored in Kebby, were also significant.
Recall that in addition to the four of the above -mentioned firms, 20 foreign companies were able to receive the rights to mines in Nigeria, including firms from Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, China, South Africa, as well as Niger, India and Ukraine.
