TISCO selects Broner for the metallurgical production activity planning project

Broner Metals Solutions, a global provider of integrated production planning and supply process optimization solutions for metallurgical enterprises, announces that Taiyuan Iron and Steel Ltd (TISCO) has selected Broner to plan the efficient operation of new equipment at their No. 1 and No. 2 steel mills located in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China.

Broner has a long-standing client relationship with TISCO since 2006. The completed projects have helped TISCO to improve the planning and management of production operations and increase productivity, reduce costs, and determine the exact delivery dates for rolling mills. It is expected that these advantages will also be achieved in the identification of additional plant areas and the construction of a Soft Roof after the completion of the expansion project.

Broner must update all existing solutions at TISCO Steelmaking plant No. 2 in the northern territories. The Broner software with the latest versions of the Broner modules will be the main part of the system. Then he will determine the principle of efficient loading of new equipment at both steelmaking plants in the Northern and Southern regions before their introduction into steelmaking.

All Broner modules must be integrated with existing SAP and MES systems. Broner will provide a training system for TISCO personnel in the installation, configuration and operation of new systems to help them integrate the work of previous years' systems with the new one.
