Metinvest has reached a historic high

In 2013, the GOKI of Metinvest Severny, Tsentralny and Inguletsky produced 34 million 140 thousand tons of marketable products, demonstrating the highest production figures over the past 7 years. This was reported by the Metinvest press service today.

"The highly efficient operation of Metinvest's Kryvyi Rih mining enterprises is a natural consequence of the Group's long-term investment program. Significant investments and the introduction of innovative programs will ensure the stable operation of our plants in the future," said Nikolay Ishchenko, Director of the Mining Division of Metinvest Group.

The Northern Mining and Processing Plant (SevGOK) set its own historical record in 2013, achieving the production of 1 million 300 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate per month. The total production of high-quality concentrate with an iron content of more than 66.27 percent at SevGOK over the past year amounted to 15 million tons.

The Central Mining and Processing Plant (CGOC) produced 6 million 600 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate in 2013, which was the highest figure in the last 7 years.

The Inguletsk Mining and Processing Plant (InGOK) produced 15 million 340 thousand tons of concentrate in 2013, slightly short of the record level of 15 million 440 thousand tons demonstrated in 2010.
