Steel prices will rise in China after the New Year holidays. According to YECH CORP, the prices of sheet steel in Taiwan will rise especially strongly due to the fall in the exchange rate of the local currency.
Recently, flat rolled products in Taiwan have been offered at 550 – 555 US dollars, and after the holidays, given the growing demand and exchange rate differences, prices will rise to 560 dollars per ton.
Market participants report that February and March are traditionally the high season of metal trading in Taiwan.
