Steel production has grown in the world

It is known that in the first half of 2011, compared with the APG, the world issue of steel increased by 7.6%, to 757.8 million tons.

It is worth noting that the production of this raw material in Asia over the reporting period increased by 8.6%, to 484.817 million tons.

In the EU-27, the release began to rise by 4.1%, to 93.384 million tons.

The production of steel in North America increased by 5.2%, until 59.179 million tons.


The production of steel also increased in South America - by 14.6%, until 24.338 million tons.

In the CIS countries, steel production increased by 6%to 56.643 million tons.
