It is known that over the first half of the current year, compared with the same period of the previous year, the export of metal products increased by 3.1%, to 12.587 million tons.
However, in June 2011, compared with the May 2011, the export of metal products decreased by 2.2%, to 2.34 million tons
It is worth noting that Ukrainian metacarrons also increased the import of metal by 9.7%, to 0.804 million tons in January-June 2011 compared to APPG.
Also in June of this year, compared with the previous month, the import of these products increased by 7.3%, to 0.152 million tons.
In 2010, compared with 2009, metal imports increased by 74.4%, to 1.678 million tons, while export - by 5.6%, to 23.746 million tons.
