On the Maidan in Kiev, protesters shoot at their own - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

According to a message published on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, police in Kiev are shooting at demonstrators exclusively with traumatic weapons.

“During the maintenance of public order and localization of riots in the center of Kiev, police officers and servicemen of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine do not use firearms.

Taking into account the nature of the injuries of the dead civilians (blind wounds, wounds to the back of the head), as well as the characteristics of the weapons seized, it can be assumed that these injuries could have been caused by aggressive protesters, ”the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said.

Recall that yesterday the Ukrainian oligarchs - the owners of the country's mining and metallurgical complex, Pinchuk and Akhmetov called on the authorities to stop the bloodshed and seek a compromise with the opposition.

"Human casualties and injuries from protesters and law enforcement officers during street clashes are an unacceptable price for political mistakes," Rinat Akhmetov's press service said in a statement.
