The total export volume of stainless steel from China in 2013 amounted to 2 million 552 thousand 300 tons, which is 29 percent more than in 2012. This is reported by the Russian Association of Special Steels with reference to the Heinz H. Pariser company.
“The structure of Chinese exports in 2013 was represented by hot-rolled flat products, which accounted for 44.9 percent of the total volume, cold-rolled flat products - 36.0 percent, seamless pipes - 6.2 percent, electric-welded pipes - 4.7 percent, wire rod - 3.3 percent, wire - 2.5 percent, long products - 2.4 percent and billets - 0.01 percent, ”the association said.
