Maidan government made a decision to form an all-Ukrainian lustration commission

Formed in response to the signing by Yatsenyuk, Tyagnibok and Klitschko, an armistice with Viktor Yanukovych, the Maidan government - the circle of popular confidence initiates the creation of the Lustration Commission.

“In every city, in every village, we will identify those who for years robbed, intimidated, and mocked the citizens of Ukraine. Such persons will be prohibited from holding leadership positions, being elected to representative bodies of power, and engaging in entrepreneurial activities in our state. In pursuance of this provision, we instruct the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the bills we have prepared "On legal lustration and the creation of a public lustration commission." The lustration commission will work for more than one year, as long as it takes to cleanse the Ukrainian land of this evil, ”the message of the circle of public confidence says.
