UMMC plans to expand the network of its metal centers

As the General Director of UMMK JSC, Miden Paykovich, said in an interview, an additional trading platform in Dnepropetrovsk will be opened in the near future.

"It will provide us with the opportunity to both increase the sales of the Dnepropetrovsk branch of the company and unload the currently overflowing warehouses in the region. Also, the baby Paykovich predicts a certain increase in demand for metal products in the second quarter of the current one, 2012, the year.

"In the 2nd quarter, we expect an increase in demand from the construction segment and the growth of the metal traffic market to 3%, which will be primarily associated with improving weather conditions. And as the results of the first half of April show, our expectations are met and the situation is changing for the better."
