In particular, the production of cast iron increased in comparison with the same period last year by 20.4%, to 9.446 million tons, steel by 20.9%, to 11.038 million tons, and finished rental - by 18%, to 9.839 million tons.
In April 2010, the production of cast iron compared to March-2010 decreased by 3.25%, to 2.470 million tons, steel by 0.6%, to 2.976 million tons, while the finished rental increased by 19.6%, to 2.680 million tons.
Recall that in January -March 2010, Ukrainian met enterprises increased the production of cast iron compared to the same period last year by 17.9%, to 6.973 million tons, steel by 16.2%, to 8.064 million tons, and finished rental - by 7.6%, to 6.754 million tons.
In 2009, Ukrainian met enterprises reduced the production of cast iron compared to 2008 by 17%, to 25.676 million tons, steel by 20%, up to 29.757 million tons, and finished rental - by 14.9%, to 26.888 million tons.
