The World Association of Manufacturers became WSA based on the results of work in March 2012 compiled another rating among metallurgical enterprises in the world. Ukraine significantly reduced the volume of metal production in comparison with the same period in 2011. The decrease amounted to 14.4% and threw Ukraine in tenth place among 62 countries of the main manufacturers of metallurgical products.
The first dozen producing countries became as follows according to the results of March 2012: China (61.581 million tons, 3.9%growth), Japan (9.324 million tons, 2.3%growth), the USA (7.764 million tons, an increase of 5.4%), Russia (6.4 million tons, an increase of 6.4%), India (6.2 million tons, growth by growth by growth. 1.2%), South Korea (6.019 million tons, 3.2%growth), Germany (3.9 million tons, falling 3.1%), Turkey (3.128 million tons, an increase of 14.5%), Brazil (3.105 million tons, 2.7 million tons growth (2.7 million tons, a fall by 14.4%).
In general, according to the results of 2011, Ukraine ranked eighth place, increasing production steel by 5.7% compared to 2010 - up to 35.332 million tons.
In 2012, only Germany and Ukraine reduced production volumes. The rest of the countries continue to increase the production of metal rolling.
At the same time, Etalya, which produced 2.691 million tons of steel in March, approached Ukraine, which occupies the last ten, increasing production by 4.5% compared to the same period last year last.
