At the Donetsk metallurgical plant, the construction of an arc electric stove has begun. She will replace the old Marten shop, who completed her work after a centenary operation. Donetsk Martin released the first steel in 1944 and gave the country more than 70 million tons of steel.
The new furnace will be the first stage in a large -scale reconstruction of the plant. The use of modern technologies in steeling production will reduce the cost of finished rental and increase the volume of steel production by more than three times a year.
The production of steel will fully comply with the requirements of world standards. This will ensure a significant reduction in the release of harmful impurities into the environment.
The design of the electric arc stove was developed by the German company "Siemens VAI". 65% of the alloted funds have already been spent on the construction of the furnace.
Further modernization of the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant provides for the introduction of a continuous casting machine, a cap-chip and other new products of this production.
In Donetsk, a new electric arcade will be built.
