Rising prices in industry for April 2012

In April 2012, prices in the industry of Ukraine increased by 3.7%, while in March their growth amounted to 1.1%, in February - 0.8%, and in December and January they decreased. Thus reported the State Statistics Service. In the annual dimension, the price of the manufacturer in April also accelerated to 6.9% compared to 6.5% for the results of March. The State Statistics Service also clarifies that since the beginning of the current year, growth in industry has increased by 4.8%. According to the agency, the increase is associated with an increase in tariffs in production for electricity, gas and water. The largest price increase (3.7%- 1.2%) was observed in the production of oil refining, metallurgy, and vehicles. In the production of food, drinks and tobacco products, prices rose by 0.1%.
