According to the press service of the Zaporizhzhya Metallurgical Plant Zaporozhstal, from the first of April on the current year, the size of the tariff rate of an employee of the 1st category of non-industrial personnel is 1140 UAH. In 2012, tariff rates are planned for all categories of employees by 12%.
The press service also reported that the basis of the social policy pursued at the Zaporizhstal plant is the formation of a worthy level of wage, taking into account the indicators of the enterprise and the degree of consumer budget coverage (indexation of inflation).
We remind you that, according to the information provided by the UKRRUDPROM.UA website, the Metinvest group, together with other investors in July 2011, acquired a 50% share in the “industrial group”, which owns more than 50% of the Zaporizhstal shares. In addition, for Metinvest, an option was provided for the redemption of the remaining 50% to the Mining and Metallurgical business of the industrial group: “Metinvest” can buy the remaining 50% in the “Industrial Group” until August 4, 2012-before this period, the option is valid.
