The British analytical agency Meps expresses confidence that the market of steel in the United States will improve its position in 2012. It is planned to increase the production of steel to 80 million tons per year, and the supply of steel will grow by 6% compared to 2011.
The fall in unemployment and the growth of consumer solvency favorably affects the forecast for the US economy. In addition, optimism inspires an increase in steel consumption in the automotive industry, energy, mining and construction industries.
