Following the airport, Donetsk prepares the opening of the new railway station

The fully reconstructed station complex of the city of Donetsk is scheduled to solemnly put into operation on May 21, 2012.

Dedicated to the opening of the updated railway station in Donetsk will be arrived by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine-Minister of Infrastructure Boris Kolesnikov, General Director of Ukrzalnzi Vladimir Kozak, chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration Andrei Shishatsky and other senior officials.

In the complex of buildings and structures built to the Euro 2012, in addition to the station itself, two shopping complexes and a bus station were included. For the convenience of citizens in a hurry to get into the country rather, as well as for guests of the city and transit passengers, new buildings of the suburban and transit stations were built. According to officials of Ukrzaliznitsi, the new station complex in Donetsk fully meets all European requirements and standards.

The updated railway station will be able to serve 35,000 passengers per hour instead of 15,000 people earlier. The station will open its doors for the first passengers at 0 hours 0 minutes on May 22, 2012. The new railway station is ready to accept modern Hyundai I Skoda high -speed trains purchased by the government to the Euro 2012.
