The export of metal distribution from Ukraine in the first cavrtal of 2012 fell by 11.4%

According to the data provided by the Metallurgprom production association for the first quarter of 2012, 6 million 100 thousand tons of metal products were taken out of Ukraine, including cast iron, steel and finished metal rolling.

Compared to the same period last year (the first quarter of 2011), a decrease in the total export supplies decreased by 11.4%. In total, 5.4 million tons were sold abroad. The main consumers of Ukrainian metal production were the Near East (39% in the total export volume), the European Union - 20%, the CIS - 16.2% (including the Russian Federation - 12%).
