A beam with a height of more than 600mm is available for customers of the Evraz group

The Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (NTMK) included in the Evraz group, mastered the production of large -grade steel steel beams 60Sh, 70Sh, 70V in size in a height of more than 600 mm unique for Russia and the CIS. Disabase data are used in the capital construction of large industrial buildings and structures.

In order to modernize production at the NTMK, work was carried out on the installation of additional equipment on the cash flow of the rolled camp involved in the technological process. Also, changes were made in the production of cast preparations in continuous casting machine No. 3 in the converter workshop of the enterprise - new sections of the steel blank of VV1-395x120x655 and VV5 - 485x165x620 mm were mastered.

Preparations for the industrial production of construction plant -based bulk beams took almost three years and the costs of mastering the new production amounted to more than 520 million rubles.

New I -beams are made according to European standards EN 10025, Japan - JISG 3101, the USA - ASTM A 36, ASTM A 992, ASTM A 572, Canada - GSA 40.21.

In the composition of investment costs, funds were also provided for updating special vehicles and protective equipment of employees of the new production. Certified overalls were delivered, including the Tex-Plus enterprise in Ivanovo.
