Metal distribution consumption increased by 12%

The consumption of metal rolling in Ukraine in January 2010 increased by 12% compared to the same period in 2009-to 348.224 thousand tons, the sale of metal production for export-5.3 times, up to 70.515 thousand tons.

According to the President of the Ukrainian Association of Metal -Trenders (UAM) Andrei Fedoseyev, in January, trumpet enterprises increased the purchases of domestic and imported metal rolling by 29.8% - to 107.390 thousand tons, while purchases reduced construction companies by 50.9%, to 2.923 thousand tons, in turn, metered companies increased consumption - increased consumption Metal rolling is 67%, up to 34.651 thousand tons.

At the same time, according to him, metal trade enterprises, including small ones, increased purchases by 13.2% to 100.071 thousand tons, mining and metallurgical-reduced by 64.9%, to 23.711 thousand tons, while machine-building increased by 78.1% to 70.143 thousand tons.

The proportion of metal vehicles in the total consumption in the domestic market according to the results of January 2010 amounted to 29%, pipe enterprises-30%, machine-building-20%, mining and metallurgical enterprises-7%, metered-10%, construction-1%, others-3%.
