The Zaporizhzhya steel -rolling plant will have new shareholders

Zaporizhzhya steel -rolling plant (ZSPZ) produces wire, nails, a metal mesh, enameled dishes. Over the past 2011, the volume of products was 23 thousand tons. According to the reports of the enterprise for 2011: a net loss amounted to 6.407 million hryvnias, income from the sale of products - 171.212 million hryvnias, and a deficit of own funds - 24.009 million hryvnias. This position is explained by the increase in prices for raw materials, the share of which in cost is more than 50%. The plant exports its products to Moldova, Belarus, Russia, Germany and successfully competes with manufacturers such as “Guarantor Metiz”, “Dneprometiz”, “Silur”.

For reconstruction and planned repairs, the enterprise spent more than 2.1 million hryvnias in 2011, and for 2012 it is planned to invest only 1.2 million hryvnias. Obviously, the ZSPZ simply does not have enough means to develop production.

There was information about the upcoming changes as part of the shareholders of the Zaporizhzhya steel -rolling plant. So the company Pandicy limited (Cyprus) is going to purchase 32.7% of the shares, Veala SA - 19.12% of the shares and the company AlphaCap Engineering SA - 13.6% of the shares.
